first of all, I can't stop playing scrabulous
and it has given jennifer another distraction...
    here she is hard at work adding friends:

had the usual thurs apt meeting today:
    baked Jam Crumb Cake:
    before baking:

    after:
       lesson learned: always make 2x the amount of crumb
       topping called for!!!  then the batter wont creep over the
       top...

    the recipe is stupid-easy though...used martha's raspberry
        jam...


they put in the stair at the new apt!!


ok, ok ... it's not the real stair, but it's somethin'!

ok I am officially over it

the painters have one more day
the tv in the living room broke
i got sick of uncovering all the furniture when I wanted to go to
    bed
so i have moved into the bathroom -

    the vitamin pee in the volvic bottle is this electrolyte drink that I have been addicted to for 5 or 6 years...i can only stomach the orange flavor...they are all bad really, but I still can't give it up!  Also great for a hangover (like gatorade, but without the sugar)

kevin on mother's day:

    yeah, sure, he looks straight!

and here is a boob shot, mit bra...still a little too scary for a
    naked shot  (not to mention scarry!...although not too
    bad...close to healed)

    there is still a bruise/rough patch on right boob(looks like left one in mirror) peeking over top of bra
verdict: highly recommend it!

happy mother's day

went to russ and daughters with kevin to load up on some
    wild western nova, cream cheese and pickled herring
brought homemade bagels
    (martha said they were the best she's ever tasted!)(see blog of april 27)

good hair and was happy with the dress, but certainly look my age! oh well! lol! what ya gonna do?...first you are 21 and try to look 35, then you're 42, wish you looked 25, but start dressing like you're 45:

the skinny, shiny black jeans from last week's blog are Superfine (here they are in what looks like a similar cut/finish but in blue...oh, just found a nice looking pair by Notify, in black)
