Alexis, Jennifer and Rosie on The Martha Show
The girls were on Martha with Rosie doing crafts today. Jennifer went to the audience holding area and people wanted to talk to her, give her gifts and take her picture. All was going okay until someone asked to take her picture and then asked who she was. That person then said, “I thought you were Wynonna.”Jennifer was horrified! Alexis said Jennifer should’ve told the woman she didn’t want her picture taken by her. Jennifer said when she was thin she was told she looked like Gillian Anderson from the X-Files. Alexis said when Scarlett Johansson was not glammed up, she resembled her a little bit. And when she was really young, people said she looked like Nastassja Kinski, but she didn’t see it. Adam said Jennifer didn’t look like Wynonna. Scott told Jennifer she looked like this pretty, heavier woman who was recently on Desperate Housewives. Jennifer said bye bye to Adam. Alexis said her trainer always had a story about how someone mistook her a man. Paulie said Alexis looked like Natasha Henstridge. Alexis said thanks but she didn’t think so. Paulie once handed a Yankee player the wrong baseball card to sign and the guy never came back - Jennifer shouldn’t have let that woman take a picture.
Biden’s daughter caught coking
Joe Biden’s daughter was allegedly caught on tape snorting coke but the video hasn’t been released. Jennifer doesn’t think she should be doing coke but shopping a film about it was horrible. It may have been a setup. Alexis said if you are in the room when people are doing coke, you are somehow complicit. Lisa said that if drugs were in a community property area, everyone could get in trouble. Alexis said that regardless, it wasn’t a reflection upon Joe Biden. She was a grown up. Alexis said the person taking the film should get in trouble, too. Apparently the guy who filmed it was the one who purchased the coke. Alexis said some people’s children grow up to be murderers but that didn’t make the parents bad people. Jennifer says drug use was something funky and it didn’t necessarily have anything to do with bad parenting.
Trouble at Oprah’s School
Some teen girls were in trouble for fondling each other at Oprah’s school in Africa. Jennifer said they were teenage girls, who cared!? Jennifer and Alexis agreed that if there was bullying going on, though, that was a problem. But if everyone involved was willing, it shouldn’t be a huge issue. Paulie thought that if Oprah was going to take credit for all the good stuff, she had to deal with the bad, too. Alexis said she was sure Oprah would take responsibility even though it had nothing to do with her.
One Taste Urban Retreat
The company offers manual stimulation of females by lovers or strangers. They called it “Omming” and it was all about the female orgasm. Jennifer tried to get them on the show and she wanted Paulie to go but wondered if Bertha would allow him to participate. Paulie didn’t think so. Alexis read a comment from Yelp.com about One Taste being like a cult. Paulie played audio from the place that included: “What if you could feel someone’s approval…” Alexis said what if you didn’t NEED someone’s approval. According to this place, you should be able to have an orgasm anywhere at anytime with just your husband’s index finger touching you. Alexis said, “How about learn to love yourself!?” Jennifer added: “And use your own finger!” Jennifer discussed cult-y experiences. Alexis said with these types of places you were paying to “belong” and be “accepted.”Jennifer said sharing her sexuality with strangers wasn’t necessarily going to lead to a deeper understanding and opening up of her being or give her a heightened awareness anyway. Alexis said sex had always been fun and easy for her. She didn’t understand why someone stuck with someone just because they had good sex with them. Jennifer said there were some woman that had a hard time having an orgasm. Paul brought up Scientology. Alexis said it was the same thing - the whole thing was that you paid to feel like you belonged somewhere.
Speaking of Scientologists….
Alexis met a gay guy who used to be friendly with Katie Holmes Cruise. As soon as this guy met Tom Cruise, however, Katie kind of stopped speaking to him. Hmmm. What’s up with that? Alexis said her grandmother was a Christian Scientist and she’d always try to avoid passing by the reading room because if her grandmother saw her she’d try to get her to come in. It was always no doctors, no doctors until her leg was badly injured by a cat and she then went to the hospital. Typical.
Friendship courtesies
Should it matter if someone you are friends with goes on and on about how much they like a celebrity even though they are fully aware that you hate this same person? Paulie said he hated Puff Daddy. Alexis asked if it would annoy him if a friend of his constantly said they loved Puff Daddy. Paulie said it would be aggravating and the friendship might not work. Alexis agreed that this might happen but Jennifer didn’t think it should be that way. Just let it go! Alexis said if she really liked Puffy, she’d consider Paul’s feelings and leave it out of the conversation. She wouldn’t rub it in that she thought Puffy was great! Alexis’s friend Kevin met Gwyneth Paltrow and said he liked her (Alexis doesn’t really like Gwyneth or her sense of style). Jennifer didn’t think he was trying to irritate Alexis but Alexis said that was not the point. You wanted your friends to be sensitive to your opinion. Alexis said SHE made an effort not to talk about things that made her friends crazy. The lack of sensitivity and consideration bugged her. Jennifer said if he knew that it bugged Alexis he wouldn’t have said it.
